Coffee beta tasting
Published on November 15, 2004 By coffeegrinder In Wildlife
At the weekends my son and I normally go to the harbour to feed the swans, ducks and any other species that happen to be about.
This Sunday being no exception we loaded all the left over bread and assorted bakery produce into the car and headed on down to the harbour. After a few minutes
I noticed a stranger among the normal collection which I have been reliably informed is a Ross's Goose.
Even I know that this bird is not a natural visitor to the Scottish coast, so yesterday morning first thing I went back with my trusty old digital camera.

Was I seeing things?

Well, I don't know anything about Ross or his goose, but it does look suspiciously like the goose in question is trying to blend into the local swan population. A spy perhaps? Perhaps it's going to bring down the whole swan aristocracy with their gaudy beauty and too long necks. More power to it!

Or maybe I'm a little strange...

Great slide show!
